Self Service Reporting Lead / Specialist
Location: Chennai
This position will involve an onsite travel to US
Exp: 4 – 9 yrs

The person will have advanced understanding of business operations and how to connect reporting and applications within the existing infrastructure. The person will provide leadership to Self Service Reporting Specialists to establish a solid foundation of standards, practices, and processes around the Self Service reporting tools and integrate their use into the reporting management lifecycle.

Provide leadership in the Self Service Reporting environment in terms of planning, organizing and timely deliverables of self service report development
Establish, maintain and refine the Self Service reporting methodology, and the standards, processes, and practices associated with the use of the reporting solution.
Develop core and standard Self Service reports and Self Service report templates
Maintain the Self Service report library to enable re-use of templates to streamline the creation of new Self Service reports
Detail report rationalization to existing core report catalog
Assist in the development and modifications of data repositories to enhance the HPO Self Service reporting environment and increase ease of use of the reporting tools
Provide troubleshooting support to the HPO vertical teams for the Self Service reporting solution
Continually monitor the methodologies, standards and practices to ensure continued efficient reporting results
Ensure that the Self Service reporting technical architecture supports the reporting requirements and objectives of the HPO organization
Provide project management leadership and support to the ORCC Reporting Team for all Self Service reporting activities
Manage the day-to-day assignments of the ORCC Self Service Reporting activities
Manage the SLAs between ORCC and the business units as well as between ISG and the ORCC.
Interact with HPO verticals to gain an understanding of their Self Service reporting needs

Skills-set needed
Practical experience in developing Self Service reports according to technical report requirements
Expertise regarding the Self Service reporting data structures, tools available to the reporting specialist and the existing core report catalog
Ability to rationalize report requests with existing core report catalog
Creativity in designing efficient parameter based self-service reports for a broad audience
Project Management skills
Advanced knowledge in SAS, including SAS programming and use of SAS Reporting Tools
